Giving Thanks- 1 Thess 5:16-18

Why does St Paul command believers to ‘give thanks’? Shouldn’t this be our natural inclination? Pastor Jim shares some thoughts.

Sunday School @ 1:15 PM.
- The adult Sunday school is studying First John with Pastor Taylor.
- The older children's Sunday school is studying with Brian.
- The younger children's Sunday school is studying how God leads his people.

Prayer Meeting. Wednesdays @ 5:30 PM at Lutheran Church of the Master. We begin with fellowship and a bring-your-own-dinner, followed by our prayer meeting @ 6:15 PM. Every third Wednesday of the month is catered.
Bible Study. Beginning September 16th, our Bible studies will meet Mondays at the church at 7 PM, except on the second Monday of the month.
Trail Life. Open House is Sept 5th at 6 PM. Regular meetings will be biweekly on Thursdays at 6 PM.
